Aarohan 2011... Came out with a Blast

Every year Dance Club NIT Durgapur comes out with new and innovative ideas to entertain people in the Annual Techno Management Fest of NIT Durgapur, Aarohan. In Aarohan 2011, Dance Club Introduced for the very first time Flash Mobbing, which came as a success. Rather than Dance Club members, other students from NIT Durgapur showed a great interest performing with us, and we are very thankful to them for there support, Arnab, Shruti Gupta, Priyanka and Soni Jha.
On the very second Day of Aarohan 11, Dance Show was organised by the Aarohan Team and Dance Club also showed great interest and performed in it. Later Team Full Stop of Calcutta also performed. We request them for a little Jamming Session with us that they accept. For that we are very thankful to them.

Black Verve X

In the History of Dance Club NIT Durgapur, first time, a program been cancelled and that too Street Dancing ver.2, d most happening shot of Dance Club.... The Reasons were many, but due to miscommunication among ourself, the event been ruined...

As compared to the Version 1 of Street Dancing @ Verve 2009, this time its was big and with more action. But as short of time, only 2 performances were allowed. DJ, Lohar, Angeera, Malvika , Monika and a guest performer Anshuka just rocked the night.....

But a group of Boys who were not allowed to perform in the EVENT.... later went to the College Basket Ball court in the Night and do what they need to do.. as someone had said.. "the show must go on"..... this is our life....

They can stop our Show, but how can they stop Our Heart Beat..... bcoz Dance Club Dil Se....

After a success of Street Dancing in Verve 2009, Dance Club is back with its Second Edition of Street Dancing this Verve X... with more thrill and madness. With DJ the bot performer and Lohar d Bollywood king performing FACE OFF.... Boyz ll rule with their Group performance... Girls ll sizzel d floor once again .... Introducing the New Dance Club Batch 2010...Generation X....So dont dare to miss it....or else aapka dil bahut DUKHI ho jaega.... kyuki Dance club "DIL SE" chalta hai!!!! ;)

Dance Club 'd movie'

Its been exam time and our filmmaker dude 'Harsh bhaiya' suggested us to make a movie for the club promotion..... so we all agreed and work for the movie started. His usual dialogue used to be "are exam tho hote hi rehte hai" and all. It took around 8 days and even nights to complete the 'movie'. We shoot all over the college, even in IT Dept., constructed SAC, basketball and newly not so build tennis court and the place we love the most in front of IT Dept. (our janam bhumi). The editing part is still going on, will be premiered @ Verve 2010, so stick on people...

Springfest IIT KGP Centrifuge

Springfest is the IIT Kharagpur's Annual Cultural Fest happens every year in the month of January before Republic Day. NIT Durgapur participated 3 years a row in the Centrifuge, Group Dance Competition event of the Springfest..... Every year the level of Dancing is increasing.... We dont won any of them but performed very well and hope to win the competition some day in the future.

congrats to Harsh Vardhan Singh for 63rd Cannes Awards

Through his 5th movie The Uncaptured Pssion Harsh Bhaiya makes his way to 63rd Cannes Awards @ France. His one more movie Khatah d mistake make all through the Tiburan Film Festival and he also won a consolation prize from our former president of India Mr. A P J Abdul Kalam in Chennai for Vision 30.... We wish for his success and also pray so he may have a bright future ahead. He really made our college and club proud....
